Tammy Betz, as a teacher, social worker and pastoral counselor, has dedicated her life to advocating for children and families through the education and juvenile justice system. She has guided families through the stages of adoption as an adoptive parent herself and provides pastoral counseling to those in need.
Tammy is an degreed professional as a doctoral candidate in the study of worship from Liberty University with a graduate certificate in Pastoral Counseling. She also holds a master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Warner University. She is certified in school social work, middle grades english and early childhood.
Her academic journey is combined with decades of hands-on experience. She has served as a certified school social worker in the education system, an adoption specialist in child welfare, and a master teacher with the United Way.
Beyond her professional credentials, Tammy's heart for service extends to community outreach. She has counseled individuals and families through Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine, developed a youth bus ministry for underserved communities, and provided faith-based guidance to youth, young couples, single mothers, & elder care.
Tammy has specialized training in trauma, anxiety, depression, and crisis intervention that enables her to walk alongside children and families navigating life's most challenging circumstances. Her work embodies the mission of Children Eternal—to provide lasting support, compassionate care, and a foundation of faith for those seeking personal and professional growth.
